receptions will be held to focus on topical industry issues
such as transportation, globalization and the environment.

market for civil engineering. As symbols of the region’s
dynamism, the iconic construction projects planned and under
construction are equipping the Gulf’s developers, engineers,
architects and contractors with a unique skill set.
The concern for
the environment poses a fresh challenge to developers,
architects and contractors. It is increasingly important to
design and build green and sustainable urban mega projects
that are sympathetic to both the local and global
environment.
